I realize this amount of views really is not a big deal when some artists are pushing a million and more these days...

ANYHOW i'm going to say that whoever gets my 10,000th view (or damn close to it) will get to request a drawing from me. So I was thinking, centaurs.


Centaurs are really not that cool, although on first sight they seem badass really they arent that great.
First point: They have 3 sets of limbs! that's 6 limbs and it's SO overkill. horses front legs are already like their arms, so it's like having 4 whole arms.
Second Point: They have 2 sets of torsos, one normal horse torso, and then just another human torso instead of a neck, and frankly that just is akward. A torso ontop of a torso? no way. This is much more than just a human on a horse vessel.
Third Point: Combat Issues, the upper torso while handy for close combat and detail work is rendered kind of useless attached the bulkyness of a horse body. how fast could that move around? not fast at all in terms of footwork, and short manuevering. Long distances could help having a horse to project him along, but the centaur is pretty useless unless he's fighting some long range dragon or something.

So that's what I got so far.. Letme know what you think about centaurs.

I'm at art school now, and I love it of course. Pratt is amazing and I love living in brooklyn, the skateboarding is amazing, and the art is amazing. I really could not ask for more.
